There are three ways in which you can register for IELTS test.
Register online and pay the test fee using a credit card.
Register in person at any IDP branch or Input Node
Register by courier and pay the test fee by Demand Draft or ICICI deposit/HDFC deposit slip.
Log on to official IDP IELTS India website
Select the option - "Register for IELTS"
Select your test date and test city (you will see the seat availability status)
Complete the online application form
Pay the test fee using a valid credit card (Master / Visa)
Once your IELTS registration is complete, you will see a confirmation on your computer screen (you may print and keep this with you for future reference). A copy of the confirmation will also be sent in hard copy or to your registered email address. You’ll need to courier a photocopy of your Passport (first and last page), and any observation pages to the IDP Head Office (address provided below). Failing you will NOT be allowed to sit the test. Candidates need to carry their original passport on test day.
Walk into any IDP branch/head offices or your nearest Input Node. You can register using either of the following methods to register:
Register online using the computer at the office and pay the test fee. You’ll get an immediate confirmation of your seat (this is identical to online registration)
Submit a photocopy of your Passport (first and last page), and observation pages, if any
Submit the duly signed Terms & Conditions document. Do read it properly before handing it over
Receive your instant acknowledgement letter that confirms your seat in the test
Fill out the application form available at the IDP office/Input Node
Sign the Terms & Conditions document provided with the application form
Append a photocopy of your Passport (first and last page), and observation pages, if any
Pay the test fee either by
A valid credit/debit / ATM card, or
Demand Draft (drawn in favour of "IDP Education India Private Limited, payable at New Delhi"). It should be made at any bank listed in the approved list of banks (provided in the Terms & Conditions document)
Depositing cash in an ICICI bank branch via a customised ICICI deposit slip, which can be either downloaded from the IDP IELTS website or collected from any IDP branch office/ Input Node. The original customer copy of the customised ICICI deposit slip needs to be handed over to the IDP branch office or the Input Node as proof of payment
Upon payment, request the staff (IDP branch / Input Node to submit your application form in the online registration system and provide you with the acknowledgement slip of your test booking along with a tentative seat reservation. Please note that if you have paid the fee by bank draft, your seat confirmation will be subject to the realisation of the bank draft
Download the application form from, www.ieltsidpindia.com. Alternatively, you can collect the application form from your nearest IDP branch office or Input Node.
Fill out the application form
Submit the duly signed Terms & Conditions document. Do read it properly before handing it over
Submit a photocopy of your Passport (first and last page), and observation pages, if any
Append the Demand Draft for your test fee (drawn in favour of "IDP Education India Private Limited, payable at New Delhi"). It should be made at any bank listed in the approved list of banks (provided in the Terms & Conditions document), or attach the original customer copy of the ICICI deposit slip if depositing cash in the nearest ICICI bank branch
Send the duly filled completed application form with all necessary documents and test fee to:
