How It Works:

1. Take an IELTS test in India between October 1st and December 31st, 2024.

2. Achieve an overall band score of 6 or higher to qualify.

3. Post a video on your Instagram handle answering the question (In less than 60 seconds): How will IELTS help you succeed in your personal or professional goals? Please ensure your profile is set to ‘public’ during the contest period.

4. Use the hashtag #IELTSCelebratingSuccess.

5. Submit your contact details and the Instagram post link on the contest page.

6. Selected 100 stories will get a chance to win INR 10,000.

Eligibility criteria:

• You must be 18 years or older.

• Book an IELTS test (Academic, General Training, UKVI, or Life Skills) with IDP IELTS India. The test must be taken between October 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024.

• Achieve an overall band score of 6 or higher.

• The participants must upload their video post on Instagram (<1 minute, in English) and fill in their details on the contest page.

• Candidates must be Indian citizens or legal residents of India.

• Test Absentees, Cancellations, or One Skill Retake candidates are not eligible.

Binding Agreement

By participating in this promotion, you ("Participant") acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the IDP Education India Private Limited (“IDP”).

Eligibility:

1. The IELTS Celebrating Success Award by IDP is open to all IELTS test takers who achieve a minimum overall band score of 6.0 or above in their IELTS test.

2. The test must be taken between October 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024

   (“Promotion Period”)

3. Participants must be Indian citizens or legal residents of India.

4. Proof of identity and citizenship/residency may be required, such as an Aadhar card, passport, or similar government-issued identification.

5. Participant must be 18 years or older.

6. Participant must have booked an IELTS test (Academic, General Training, IELTS on Computer, Pen and Paper-based, UKVI, or Life Skills) with IDP during the Promotion Period.

7. Participants must have achieved an overall band score of 6 or higher.

8. Test Absentees, cancellations, or One Skill Retake candidates are not eligible for this promotion.

9. Participants must post their video on their Instagram handle answering the question: “

   How will IELTS help you succeed in your personal or professional goals?“ (less than one minute, in English) and fill their details on the contest page.

Award Details:

1. A total of 100 Awards will be granted each month.

2. Each Award is worth Rs 10,000.

3. 33% of the total Awards will be reserved for female test takers.

Application Process:

1. To be considered for the Award, participants must submit their entry through the official IDP IELTS Celebrating Success Award contest form.

2. The contest form must be completed and submitted during the Promotion Period.

Selection Criteria:

1. The Award winners will be selected based on their IELTS band score of 6.0 or above.

2. Awards will be selected from the entries received during the Promotion Period by IDP’s judging panel, with a special emphasis on female test takers to meet the reserved quota (33%).

3. The selection process will be fair and transparent.

Prize Distribution:

1. The Awards will be distributed in the form of a bank transfer to the winner’s Indian bank account.

2. The Awards will be distributed in the form of a bank transfer to the winner’s Indian bank account.

3. If the Award Prize INR 10,000 is paid to the winner’s account (participant/test taker), then No Tax is applicable, however the following documents would be required:

- PAN copy

- Cancelled Cheque copy

4. If student does not have the bank account, the above documents from his/her parent would be required along with signed declaration from the student, authorising to deposit the amount to his parent’s bank account. The payment will be credited to his/her parent’s account – subject to applicable TDS, if applicable.

5. Payment transfers will be initiated within 5-working days from the date of receiving complete documents.

6. Winners will be notified via email or phone call, and they must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this period, the Award may be forfeited, and a new winner may be selected.

• Taxes: All applicable government taxes/levies imposed on prizes are the sole responsibility of the Participant. In order to receive a prize, each Participant may be required to submit the applicable tax documentation requested by IDP or as otherwise required by applicable law. Each Participant will be solely responsible for ensuring that they comply with all the applicable tax laws and filing requirements.

General Conditions:

1. The Award is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

2. IDP reserves the right to disqualify any application that does not meet the eligibility criteria or is found to be fraudulent.

3. By participating in the Award, you

   grant IDP, its group companies, affiliates and subsidiaries a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license and right to use your name, photograph, and testimonials for promotional purposes, including the video created and submitted as part of the IELTS Celebrating Success Award without additional compensation.

Elimination

1. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or any related guidelines may result in your immediate disqualification from the Award and/or the promotion

Privacy:

1. Personal information provided by you during the application process will be used solely for the purpose of the Award and will be handled in accordance with IDP Group’s privacy policy available here.

Modification and Cancellation:

1. IDP reserves the right to modify or cancel the Award and/or the promotion at any time without prior notice.

2. Any changes to the terms and conditions will be communicated through the official IDP IELTS website or via email.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi. The laws of India shall govern this promotion.
